Residents of Kombolcha town, who stated that various development projects are being carried out in their area, said that "if we could maintain our peace, more development projects would be carried out in the region."
They also asked the armed forces operating in the forest to accept this public call for peace and come to the path of peace if they truly stand for the people.
At the rally, various sections of the community conveyed a message that all efforts should be made to make the area a zone of development and peace.
