The Oromo community's annual Thanksgiving event, Irreecha Hora Finfine, has been vibrantly celebrated in Addis Ababa since morning.
The event witnessed a huge multitude of people gather and observe the Irreecha celebration, with people drawn from all walks of life in attendance, including Abba Gedas, Abba Melkas, Abba Muda, Hadha Siinqees, youths, and tourists from overseas.
Irreecha, the most celebrated cultural festival in Africa, is a thanksgiving holiday celebrated at the end of the winter, thanking Waaqa (God) for the blessings and mercies throughout the previous year observed at sacred lakes like Hora Finfinne and Hora Harsadi.
