Deputy Head of Mission with the Ethiopian Embassy in Ghana urged Africans to step up their unity through economic integration.
Ambassador Asaye Alemayehu made the remark at a festival held in Accra, Ghana, to mark the annual Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day.
Nkrumah was a driving force behind the practical and ideological underpinnings of Pan-Africanism and our understanding of neo-colonialism.
Ambassador Alemayehu also took the opportunity to call up on the two countries to further boost long standing ties.
The ambassador said that Africans should breeze new life into their unity, according to the Ethiopian consulate in Accra.
Ethiopia and Ghana steadfastly rallied around Pan-Africanism since the establishment of Organization of African Unity (OAU) in 1963.
