Ethiopia has rolled out the red carpet for Japanese investors today at the Ethio-Japan Trade and Investment Symposium in Addis Ababa. Over 50 Japanese companies attended, responding to the Ethiopian government's promotion of a favorable investment climate, driven by recent macroeconomic reforms. Ethiopian State Minister Ambassador Mesganu Arga and Minister Kassahun Gofe (PhD) emphasized lucrative investment opportunities and attractive incentives. Japanese Ambassador Shibata Hironori confirmed significant private sector interest. The symposium, a collaborative effort between Ethiopian ministries, aims to significantly increase Japanese investment in the country.
