World Vision Ethiopia today has announced a 2 million euro EU-funded peacebuilding project to be implemented in Amhara, Tigray and Benishangul Gumuz regions of Ethiopia.
The project aims to empower youth to make peacebuilding a culture and to better resolve conflicts.
The State Minister for Peace and National Reconciliation, Dr. Keiredin Tezera, said that peace peacebuilding requires collective efforts
He noted that thet government is committed to resolving problems seen in some parts of the country through dialogue.
They praised World Vision Ethiopia for its work in building peace in areas where peace is lacking by strengthening existing values of problem-solving through dialogue.
He also assured that the Ministry of Peace will provide the necessary support for the effectiveness of the project.
