Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - High-level dignitaries from across the globe are converging in Addis Ababa for the "Zero Hunger World" Summit.
President Julius Maada Bio of the Republic of Sierra Leone arrived in the Ethiopian capital yesterday, where he was welcomed by Foreign Minister Gedion Timotheos (Dr.) and Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Birtukan Ayano. President Bio is expected to participate in the summit, which aims to address global food security challenges.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Amadou Urbain Bah of Guinea arrived in Addis Ababa this morning. He was greeted at Bole International Airport by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.). Prime Minister Abiy expressed his welcome on social media, stating, "I welcome Prime Minister Amadou Urbain Bah to Ethiopia."
The "Zero Hunger World" Summit is expected to bring together world leaders, experts, and stakeholders to discuss strategies for achieving food security and eradicating hunger worldwide.
