Ethiopia, Algeria: Enhanced Intelligence Cooperation

Ethiopia and Algeria have strengthened their intelligence cooperation. A delegation led by General Khalifa Misbah, the director of Algeria's Technical Information Institute, recently arrived in Ethiopia, where they were warmly received by high-ranking officials from the National Intelligence and Security Service in Addis Ababa.

During their discussions, the delegation engaged in a comprehensive dialogue about pressing issues at local, regional, continental, and global levels, focusing on long-term cooperation with the National Intelligence and Security Service.

Ambassador Redwan Hussain, the Director General of the National Intelligence and Security Service, emphasized Ethiopia's commitment to addressing its security challenges through constructive dialogue. In turn, General Khalifa Misbah expressed his institute's dedication to enhancing frameworks for information exchange and technical cooperation.

Following their discussions, the delegation toured the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, where General Misbah praised Ethiopia's water resource potential, highlighting that the dam's completion would benefit not only Ethiopians but also neighboring countries.
