Tens of millions of Americans are casting ballots Tuesday to elect their next president.
Republican Candidate and former US President Donald Trump and Democrat, the current Vice-President, Kamala Harris and have been running neck-and-neck for weeks.
US election results have sometimes been declared within hours of the polls closing, but this year's tight contest could mean a longer wait.
Trump and Harris have been making promises for months to the American people about what they would do to improve the lives of Americans if elected president in the 2024 election. Their promises encompass climate, foreign policy, social issues, health care and, of course, taxes.
Trump recurrently vowed to end the war in Ukraine and to carry out the "largest deportation" effort in U.S. history, while Harris promised she would continue Biden's policy of aiding Ukraine, tackling the root causes migrant crisis at the border southern US.
