One hundred and four irregular Ethiopian migrants have returned home from Djibouti in two rounds. This was made possible through a collaboration between the Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The Embassy stated that ongoing efforts to monitor and combat human trafficking have resulted in numerous Ethiopians receiving legal protection and being saved from harm and death. According to ENA, these efforts will continue with increased intensity in the future.
