House Speaker Tagese Chafo has extended his congratulations to Ethiopians on the occasion of National Flag Day. In his message, he acknowledged the significance of the national flag as a symbol of unity, pride, and shared identity for the Ethiopian people. The Speaker emphasized the importance of upholding the values represented by the flag, particularly during this time of national progress and development.
This year's celebration marked for the 17th time carrying the theme "Our flag for our national unity, sovereignty, and the height of Ethiopia!" This significant occasion, reflecting the values of unity and national identity, will be coordinated by the HPR in collaboration with federal, state, and local authorities.
A nationwide celebration has taken place, with simultaneous participation from various institutions, including federal government offices, regional administrations, Defence Army camps, and Ethiopian embassies abroad.
