A conference aimed at strengthening peace, security and unity throughout Africa is set take place at the Adwa Memorial Museum in the coming week. Ethiopian Minister of Defense, Engineer Aisha Mohammed, highlighted that the focus of the African Defense Ministers conference is enhancing security frameworks and fostering military collaboration among African nations.
The agenda will cover vital issues such as countering terrorism, addressing collective security challenges, and building partnerships within the defense sector by learning from nations with more advanced military practices.
ENA learnt that the conference will also emphasize Africa's essential role in promoting global peace and improving humanitarian assistance and disaster response efforts.
With a strong emphasis on capacity building through training, technology transfer, and knowledge sharing, the event will feature expert presentations that could shape future defense strategies, alongside discussions on Africa's military evolution and its contributions to peacekeeping amidst modern challenges.
