Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed participated in the official opening of the Forum on China–Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), the Prime Minister's Office confirmed.
During the high-level summit, China outlined a strategic framework for enhanced Sino-African partnerships, unveiling cooperation in ten critical sectors, including trade, industrial development, health, agriculture, connectivity, green energy, and security.
These initiatives are poised to bolster Ethiopia’s engagement within the FOCAC framework, positioning the country to benefit significantly from strengthened economic and developmental ties with China across multiple fronts.
