Ethiopian Airlines to Bridge Continents with New Dhaka Route

Ethiopian Airlines announced Friday that it will commence six new weekly flights to Dhaka, Bangladesh, from the 1st of November 2024.

Africa's leading carrier will operate the new service, which expands its global network and bridges continents, with the state-of-the-art Boeing B787 Dreamliner, offering passengers a comfortable and seamless travel experience, Ethiopian said.

Ethiopian’s new service scheduled for November will maximize “convenient connections between Bangladesh and key destinations across Africa and beyond, while creating a stronger presence of Ethiopian in South Asia.

Apart from contributing significantly to the socio-economic ties between Bangladesh and Ethiopia, the new service unveils a more closer tie between Asia and Africa where Ethiopian established the widest network of more than 63 destinations, Ethiopian said in a statement it issued.

“Bangladesh is a dynamic and growing market, and we are confident that our modern fleet and exceptional service will meet the needs of travelers between our two regions,” said Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines.

“By deploying our state-of-the-art aircraft on this route, we are not only offering our passengers the comfort they deserve but also fostering stronger ties between Africa and Asia.” He added, “Our new service to Dhaka is a testament to Ethiopian Airlines' enduring vision of expanding horizons and creating bridges across continents.”
