Ethiopia has achieved a significant milestone in its defense capabilities, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced. The country now produces its own ammunition, ending years of reliance on imports. According to the Prime Minister, this development, achieved within the last three years, allows Ethiopia to not only equip its national defense force but also export ammunition internationally. This progress, he added, is part of a larger national strategy to achieve self-sufficiency across various sectors.
