The Ethiopian Federal Defence Force announced that the 129th anniversary of the Adwa Victory will be celebrated under the theme "Adwa: The Victory of Black People."
Major General Endalkachew Woldekidan, Director General of Psychological Warfare for the Defence Force, stated in a press release regarding this year's Adwa Victory Day celebration that the victory will be commemorated with various events under the theme "Adwa: The Victory of Black People."
He also indicated that the necessary preparations have been made.
He further noted that the celebration will be held in Adwa with the attendance of high-ranking government officials, the diplomatic community, and various segments of society at the Adwa Victory Memorial, ENA learnt.
