The corridor development in Harar city showcases the city's beauty and will enhance its status as a preferred tourist destination, according to Zahid Zeidan Al-Harari, a researcher and analyst on Arab countries' relations.
According to Zahid, the development works initiated at the national level have not only enabled citizens to have a comfortable and modern environment but have also increased their economic and social benefits.
He stated that the corridor development works carried out and underway in the city have enabled Harar to be beautiful, clean, and maintain its standards, living up to its name.

He pointed out that the corridor development project has increased infrastructure provision in a manner befitting the city's history and ancient civilization.
He believes that the corridor development, which utilized local resources and capabilities, can serve as a good experience to be taken as a model by other cities.
According to ENA, Zahid added that the developments carried out in and around the Jugol World Heritage Site preserve the history and heritage inherited from our ancestors.
He expressed his understanding that the redevelopment work was carried out with the aim of preserving the heritage for future generations and creating a sustainable asset.
He specifically expressed his joy in seeing the roads in and around the Jugol World Heritage Site, which were previously clogged with waste and uncomfortable, being redeveloped to become a comfortable resting and living space for the community.
