The Ethiopian Immigration and Nationality Services is launching a new, high-security e-passport at a ceremony held at the Science Museum. The new e-passport incorporates biometric data, including fingerprints, facial recognition, and an electronic chip.
It is designed to streamline immigration processes and enhance security features to prevent fraud and counterfeiting. The passport meets international standards and has secured global acceptance.
Importantly, it's also being produced domestically through a partnership between Ethiopia Investment Holdings and Topan Security Ethiopia Share Company.
