The African Union (AU) has announced the appointment of four new commissioners to lead crucial portfolios. Moses Vilakati of Eswatini will oversee Agriculture, Rural Development, Blue Economy & Sustainable Environment. Lerato D. Mataboge will head the Energy & Infrastructure portfolio. Amb. Bankole Adeoye takes on the role of Commissioner for Peace and Security (PAPS), and Amb. Amma A. Twum-Amoah will lead the Health, Humanitarian Affairs & Social Development portfolio.
