The 46th Ordinary Session of the African Union Executive Council has commenced.
The session, taking place at the AU headquarters in Addis Ababa, is themed "Reparative Justice for Africans and People of African Descent."
The meeting is attended by Foreign Ministers from various African countries, diplomats, and leaders of AU institutions.
Over the two-day session, the Council is expected to deliberate on various continental agendas and pass resolutions.
