All-Russian Political Party United Russia has conferred with Ethiopia’s ruling party, Prosperity Party (PP), focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two sisterly parties.
Vice President of PP and Head of the Democratic System Building Center at the Deputy Prime Minister level, Adem Farah, met with Senator of the Russian Federation and Bureau Member of the Supreme Council of All-Russian political party “United Russia”, Andrey Klimov.
During their discussions, PP Vice president highlighted Ethiopia’s impressive advances under the leadership of the Prosperity Party, particularly in agriculture, information and communication technology, and other key sectors.
The Vice President also underscored the country’s commitment to combating climate change, noting the mobilization of millions of citizens to plant billions of trees in recent years.
Moreover, Adem mentioned Ethiopia’s membership in BRICS+, which has positioned the country to actively participate in fostering a more equitable and just global order through multilateralism.
Andrey Klimov, for his part, expressed his appreciation on behalf of the United Russia party for the invitation to attend the Prosperity Party’s 2nd Congress, which commenced today in Addis Ababa.
Ethiopia’s ruling party - Prosperity Party - is currently holding its second Assembly and in attendance other than party members are invited representatives of major overseas political parties.
