President Taye Atske-Selassie has pledged Ethiopia's unwavering support to the new COMESA Chairman, H.E. President Évariste Ndayishimiye, at the 23rd COMESA Summit of Heads of State and Government.
The President also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome he received. Addressing the challenges facing Africa's value chains, President Taye highlighted Ethiopia's multi-sectoral reforms in agriculture and tourism, showcasing remarkable outcomes. These include achieving wheat self-sufficiency and developing new tourism destinations.
The President expressed his firm belief that Ethiopia will remain fully committed to working closely with the COMESA Secretariat and all member states to foster deeper and broader regional integration and cooperation.
