Ethiopia's Macroeconomic Reforms Yield Positive Results

Ethiopia's macroeconomic reforms are delivering tangible results. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlights increased economic growth, improved government revenue, and a reduced debt burden.

These reforms are also strengthening government institutions and bolstering foreign currency reserves, setting the stage for a more prosperous Ethiopia.

The announcement came as the leadership and staff of the Ministry and affiliated institutions, have held discussions on the progress of the country's 100-day reform plan and key economic performances in 2024.

State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Misganu Arga, who led the discussions, stated that these reforms would enhance Ethiopia’s economy, aligning it more closely with regional and global economic systems.

Ambassador Misganu also emphasized the need for greater public awareness of the macroeconomic reforms and noted that Ethiopia’s economy is growing despite global and domestic challenges, indicating the success of these major reform efforts.
