This October, Ethiopian Airlines will be the first airline in Africa to fly the Airbus A350-1000. This massive plane can carry a whopping 395 passengers – that's more than most other big planes! It'll be flying to London Heathrow, one of the busiest airports in the world.
The A350-1000 is part of Ethiopian Airlines' plan to have a bigger and better fleet of planes. They actually ordered four of these planes back in 2022. And guess what? This plane is so big that it can only be beaten by the Boeing 777-300ER in terms of how many passengers it can fit!
One cool thing about the A350-1000 is that it has a lot more business class seats than their other A350 planes. In fact, 12% of all the seats on this plane are business class, which means more comfort and space for those who want it! Passengers flying to London Heathrow from October 27th, 2024, will get to experience the luxury of the new A350-1000!
