The Stride Ethiopia 2024 Expo, which opened on May 10 and was held from May 11 to 18 at the Science Museum, has wrapped up.
In the concluding forum, Minister of Innovation and Technology, Belete Mola (Dr.), said that the panel discussions, research workshops and exhibition forums that were held following the motivational speech and the work directions given by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) at the opening of the expo, have created a great spirit of cooperation and creativity. .
The minister added that the STRIDE Ethiopia 2024 expo was a great National event where the resources and experiences needed to strengthen the sector were obtained and we have achieved the goals that were set at the beginning, according to the information we received from the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.
By the end of the forum, an Award and Recognition program was held for those who contributed to the sector and achieved tangible results.
Awards for Lifetime Achievement, Women Entrepreneurs, STRIDE 2024 Best Technology Transfer and Research, STRIDE 2024 Ecosystem, Best Digitized Public Institution Sectors, were also given out at this event.
At the closing ceremony, Minister of Labor and Skills Muferiat Kamil, Minister of Education Prof. Birhanu Nega, Minister of Culture and Sports Kejela Merdasa were among the attendees, along with other senior government officials and invited guests.
This event serves as spring board for future generations who have passion of innovative ideas to leverage Ethiopia in Science and Technology.
