Strong Organizational Culture is the secrete behind Ethiopian Airlines' Success, says Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Mesfin Tasew.
Appearing on ETV, Mesfin mentioned six basic factors to the airline's secret of success.
He stated that since its inception, Ethiopian Airlines has paid great attention to human resources to meet its human resource needs, training the necessary professionals in number and skills, and in the process, it has led to success.
He said that a strong work culture has enabled the institution to be successful.
Another secret of its success, said Mesfin, is that the airline has built internal capacity to implement its long-term plan.
According to the CEO, Ethiopian has developed a workforce that can maintain not only its own aircrafts, but also other African and Middle Eastern aircrafts.
Mesfin mentioned that the airline's focus on cost effectiveness is crucial. Continuous employment of modern technology and the prioritization of customer comfort and safety when introducing new aircraft are also backbones of the airliner.
The CEO also explained that the strong support of the government has contributed greatly to the continued success of Ethiopian Airlines.
