Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has met CEO of WEbuild Group, Pietro Salini.
On a social media post, the Premier said “I met with Pietro Salini, CEO of Webuild Group in Rome to discuss the progress of the national mega projects they have been involved in constructing. With the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam — the pride of our nation and Africa — nearing completion in the coming months, and the accelerated progress of the Koysha Dam, Webuild’s partnership has been instrumental in advancing our national objectives.”
PM Abiy also mentioned that his discussion focused on the ongoing projects in Ethiopia.
“Our conversation focused on current project milestones, strategies for expediting delivery, and ensuring that sustainability and innovation remain at the heart of implementation. This engagement reflects our shared commitment to delivering transformative projects that drive economic growth and support long-term national development.”
Prime Minister Abiy arrived in Rome, Italy this morning for an official working visit.
