The Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded certificates of recognition to numerous stakeholders for their crucial roles in the successful 38th AU Summit. "Ethiopia has indeed shown that Addis Ababa is in fact a diplomatic hub and a success story in diplomacy and economic transformation," stated Foreign Minister Dr. Gedion Timothewos.
State Minister Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, who led the National Committee, emphasized the summit's "all-round success," showcasing Ethiopia's diplomatic, economic, and political achievements. The summit, themed "Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations," took place in Addis Ababa from February 15-16.
