The U.S. Embassy in Ethiopia has praised Ethiopia's commitment to empowering youth with innovation and technological knowledge.
Stuart Davis, Deputy Cultural Affairs Officer at the Embassy, stated that the activities being carried out to enhance youth's innovation and technology knowledge, including the Science Museum, demonstrate Ethiopia's commitment to the sector's development.
He mentioned that the U.S. is supporting African youth who will be the future leaders in science and technology in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
He pointed out that training is being provided in six STEM centers across various regions of Ethiopia, and stated that work is underway to open an additional center in Hawassa, ENA reported.
He also noted that the number of young Ethiopians visiting the centers is steadily increasing.
