Government Communication Service announced that Ethiopia is fully prepared to host the 38th African Union Leaders' Summit this weekend.
According to the statement released the government of Ethiopia has finalized all necessary arrangements and is ready to welcome over 15,000 guests.
As the seat of the AU, Ethiopia plays a key role in Pan-Africanism and has a long history of hosting the union's annual meetings.
The government emphasized the significance of the AU as a symbol of Ethiopia's contribution to the continent and a testament to African solidarity.
A 35 member committee, including federal institutions and the Addis Ababa city administration, has been coordinating preparations.
The government is calling on all stakeholders to cooperate in showcasing Ethiopia's tourist attractions, development progress, and products to visiting delegates.
Citizens are also asked to demonstrate their renowned hospitality and understanding during any temporary disruptions, such as road closures, associated with the summit.
The government communication service expressed gratitude to all involved in the extensive preparations.
