Several foreign political parties have arrived in Addis Ababa to attend the Prosperity Party's second congress.
Delegations from Rwanda's Rwandan Patriotic Front (led by Secretary General Wellars Gasamagera), Morocco's National Rally of Independents (led by Mohammed Sadiky), and Turkey's Justice and Development Party (AKP, led by Zafer Sirakay) were welcomed at Bole International Airport last night by Ethiopian government officials including State
Minister of Foreign Affairs Birtukan Ayano. The congress, scheduled for January 31st to February 2nd, 2025, at the Adwa Memorial Museum, expects over 1700 participants, including Prosperity Party members, community representatives, opposition parties, and international guests. Representatives from a total of 15 foreign political parties are anticipated to participate.
