The East African Development Bank (EADB) has provided medical supplies worth 20 million Birr to Negele Borena General Hospital.
The assistance was provided through the IGAD Secretary-General, Workneh Gebeyehu, through a humanitarian organization called Human Bridge.
The assistance provided includes hospital beds, orthopedic devices, laboratory equipment and other supplies.
The assistance will enhance the hospital’s services, which is reaching out to more than 100,000 residents in East Borena and the surrounding areas.
