Ethiopia Opened National Library in Madrid, Spain which helps to enhance bilateral relations of the two sister countries beyond promoting Cultural, Historical and Diverse traditions of Ethiopians as well, Director of Abrehot Library, Wubayehu Mamo(Engineer) pointed out that ”opening of this Library Cements Diplomatic engagements of Ethiopia and Spain. Furthermore, it gives additional opportunity for Ethiopians and Ethiopian Descents living in Madrid and vicinities”. As Wubayeh describes that, this Library is also accessible digitally and everybody can enjoy this opportunity.
Spanish Library is the largest of its kind globally having more than 26 million collections of books and launched by 1711. In the passage of time, this Library serves as treasure of the World. Opening of Ethiopia’s Library in Madrid will gives better chance of promoting intercultural discourse in the era of diversity.
