Speaker of the House of Peoples' Representatives, Tagesse Chafo, stated that an electronic public consultation and feedback system will enhance citizen participation in the legislative drafting process, leading to the enactment of transparent and robust laws.
The new electronic (web-based) public consultation system, which allows the community and stakeholders to provide input and feedback on draft laws, has been inaugurated and is now operational.
Regarding the launch of the service, Speaker Tagesse emphasized that efforts are focused on increasing and strengthening the participation of the public and stakeholders in the justice system.
