A memorandum of understanding (MoU) establishing a Djibouti-Ethiopia-South Sudan-Uganda Corridor Authority has been signed. A ministerial forum has concluded its work on establishing the Corridor Authority, engaging in extensive discussions on a draft MoU via a technical committee.
These discussions have focused on issues enabling the establishment of the Ethio-Djibouti Corridor Authority. The Ethiopian Embassy in Djibouti has announced that the establishment of the corridor will strengthen regional integration by fostering infrastructure links, expanding cooperation, and boosting economic growth among the participating countries.
