“I am from Dutch. This is my second time in Ethiopia. I love this country. The first time I went to Lalibela and OMO Valley. And now this time, I went to Gondar and Bahir Dar. This celebration is wonderful, this festival with some deep, amazing marvels. I recommend everyone should come to this festival but also at any time of year it's a wonderful country. I love it. I love it.”
Another tourist said “I arrived two days ago to take part in the Timket festival. It was a very good impression. So yeah, today I woke up at five o'clock and spent the holiday. I feel that people are happy, smiling and having a good time.”
“I have lived in many different African and Middle Eastern countries. Ethiopia is unique, the wealth of history, and the sophistication of its culture. It has a depth of spirituality which one doesn't find elsewhere. It's worthwhile to come here to experience it, to visit the monasteries and churches, to interact with the people. I would recommend that to everybody.
There is no doubt that the festivals constitute an important tourist attraction and that they contribute to their date, and the economy because of that, and they deserve to be supported and promoted because of this. They deserve to be promoted because of this.”
“The Timket celebration has been very interesting. It's so vibrant and full of life. And, you know, people are so excited to be here. So that energy is contagious, you know? So it's unique. I've never seen anything like this before.
In the Western news, we hear a lot about Africa or Ethiopia, and people think of the problems, but there are so many good things and exciting things here. The culture of Ethiopia is so vibrant and strong, and it is so amazing to come and see something completely different that you can't see anywhere else. You know, I don't think I've ever even heard of anything like this, so I think it's a unique experience that more tourists should come to see.”
“It's an amazing cultural and religious festival. There are few countries in the world where you see a whole country come together to celebrate something all together, such as a ticket, because this, of course, is happening everywhere in Ethiopia, and it is such a symbol of Ethiopia's cultural identity, religious identity and unity as peoples As a country.
I have seen Lucy. There are, of course, all of the wonderful churches as well as several good mosques here. And you know, the national palace. Go to the national museum in si lucie. There are, of course, all of the wonderful churches as well as several good mosques here. And you know, the national palace will open soon as a museum.”
“A celebration of joy and happiness. And I'm so happy to be here to experience it and see people want to be part of this so many of the culture. It's a beautiful experience. The joy on the kid's faces is precious, and I just love being able to experience this.
You know, people make a trip to a city like you and people dream of going to Paris one day, but why don't you come to Addis one day? Yeah, I would recommend it.”
