Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) has officially launched Ethiopia's first securities exchange today.
In a message posted on his social media page, the Prime Minister stated, "We have rung the bell for Ethiopia's first securities exchange, a historic milestone for our economic and financial landscape."
Prime Minister Abiy also called for investment in the exchange, saying, "In Ethiopia, with its rapid economic growth, vast potential for prosperity, and burgeoning opportunities, let's unleash the power of the capital market.
