Jordan Eyes Religious, Health Tourisms to Shore up Ties to Ethiopia

 

Jordan expressed resolve to boost cooperation with Ethiopia, particularly in the realm of tourism.

While holding extensive talks with his Ethiopian counterpart, Nasissie Chalie, Jordanian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Makram Mustafa Queisi, indicated that Jordan is intent on sharing its rich experiences in the industry with Ethiopia.

Minister Queisi arrived in Addis Ababa to a tumultuous welcome by his Ethiopian counterpart for a two-day official visit.

Minister Queisi and his accompanying delegation are scheduled to hold bilateral talks with Ethiopian officials, while at the same time finalizing agreements aimed at solidifying ties in tourism.

 

The Jordanian Minister will hold lengthy discussions with representatives of several Ethiopian institutions, with the sole objective of shoring up religious tourism and health tourism.

While in Ethiopia, the Jordanian delegates will pay visits to various tourist destinations in Ethiopia.//
