Among the newly launched services is a technology-backed livestock asset information management system. Ethio-Telecom stated that this system would enable Ethiopia to accurately identify, record, and utilize its livestock resources, facilitating better data management.
Additionally, the company introduced a digital solution that supports farmers in using their livestock assets to access insurance and financial assistance.
Frehiwot also underscored the necessity of equipping enterprises with competitive technologies to drive Ethiopia’s digital transformation.
Furthermore, Ethio-Telecom unveiled an advanced network solution that enables enterprises in sectors such as security, healthcare, and construction to access high-speed voice and video services without geographical limitations.
The company also announced a new service that allows banks and microfinance institutions to expand their services and improve accessibility for customers without the need for additional telecom infrastructure.
In the education sector, Ethio-Telecom introduced a digital platform that enhances communication between students, parents, and the academic community.
