Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh has stated that the government's macroeconomic reforms have been instrumental in boosting the private sector's efficiency.

The Deputy Prime Minister visited the Steely RMI PLC Manufacturing Factory located in Bishoftu, Oromia Region.

He noted that the factory, which was previously importing steel products, has now begun producing rebar by collecting scrap metal. The Deputy Prime Minister commended the factory for resuming full operations following the macroeconomic reforms.

Highlighting the revival of private sector investment after the reforms, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the government has been providing support, including facilitating credit, and addressing infrastructure needs such as electricity, roads, and other basic requirements.

Steely RMI PLC Manufacturing Factory, a member of the Century Business Group, is using modern technology to produce ferro alloys and other steel products with 70% domestic inputs.
