Ethiopian government has appointed Thursday a new health minister, as the House of Peoples representatives approved the nomination of Dr. Mekdes Daba as Health Minister by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. Dr Mekdes replaced Dr Lia Tadesse, who served the ministry as state minister since 2018 and a minister as of 2020.
