Arba Minch University Provides Free Medical Services to Over 7,000 Citizens

Arba Minch University's College of Medicine and Health Sciences announced it has provided free medical examination and treatment services to 7,200 citizens.

Dr. Desta Galcha, Executive Director of the University's College of Medicine and Health Sciences, stated that the college offers extensive medical services to the community through both regular and emergency treatments.

He further elaborated that the college spent 150 million Birr this year to provide free examination and treatment services in various medical fields to the 7,200 citizens.

Dr. Abdella Kemal, President of Arba Minch University, for his part, noted that the institution is actively focused on community service alongside its teaching and learning activities.

He also highlighted that two programs offered within the university's College of Medicine and Health Sciences have received national accreditation, FBC reported.
