Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) today officially opened the permanent exhibition section of the Science Museum in Addis Ababa, marking a significant milestone in Ethiopia's commitment to advancing science and technology.

The newly unveiled exhibition features five distinct categories: Artificial Intelligence, Climate Change and Ethiopia's Response, Agriculture, Hydropower and Energy, and Aeronautics and Aviation. These thematic areas underscore the nation's strategic focus on leveraging innovation for sustainable development.

During the inauguration, officials emphasized that the exhibition serves as a clear demonstration of Ethiopia's resolute determination to embrace and utilize science and technology across various sectors.

A highlight of the new exhibition is the grand reveal of Ethiopia's first-ever spherical space-themed display hall. This impressive hall, spanning 1,000 square meters with a 36-meter diameter, is outfitted with cutting-edge 4K digital image display technology. Designed to provide an immersive experience, the display promises to bring the wonders of the cosmos closer to visitors through stunning, high-definition visuals.

The Science Museum is now fully open to the public, offering an environment conducive to exploration, learning, and inspiration. Ethiopian citizens are encouraged to visit the museum to witness firsthand the promising future of science and technology within the nation.
