$160M Investment set to Boost Bole Lemi Industrial Zone

Investors in Bole Lemi Industrial Zone have committed over $160 million and are currently undertaking construction and machinery installation. This was announced by the Industrial Parks Development Corporation. Six domestic and foreign investors have begun operations in the zone.

The Corporation's CEO, Dr. Fisseha Yitagesu, recently visited these investors to review their progress. These investors signed agreements with the corporation to begin operations in Bole Lemi Industrial Zone at the end of the 2016 fiscal year and during the current fiscal year. Six companies are now working towards commencing production, and are expected to create over 2,000 permanent jobs, ENA reported.
