Ethiopia has strengthened its strategic partnership with Russia, signing a new three-year nuclear technology roadmap and signaling a commitment to expanding cooperation across various sectors.
This marks the second such agreement between the two nations, further solidifying Russia's role in Ethiopia's technological development. Minister of Innovation and Technology, Belete Molla (PhD) emphasized the Ethiopian government’s dedication to strengthening the relationship, highlighting the historic ties between the two countries.
"The partnership agreements we are implementing not only address today’s pressing issues but also lay the foundation for a lasting and prosperous partnership for future generations," Minister Belete stated.
The intensified collaboration extends beyond nuclear technology, encompassing a broad range of areas including economic cooperation, cultural exchange, technological innovation and transfer, investment, education, agriculture, trade, and infrastructure development. Consultations held between Ethiopian and Russian officials focused on establishing concrete agreements to propel these initiatives forward.
