Argentina Seeks Stronger Educational Cooperation with Ethiopia

Argentina has expressed its interest in strengthening collaboration with Ethiopia in the education sector, with a focus on higher education, language development, and cultural exchange.

During a meeting with Ethiopia’s Minister of Education, Professor Birhanu Negga, Argentina’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ignacio Rocataglita, discussed potential areas of cooperation.

The discussions emphasized student and teacher exchange programs, free education opportunities, as well as joint initiatives in arts, sports, and public engagement.

Minister Birhanu outlined key areas for collaboration, highlighting the importance of partnerships between universities in both countries.

Ambassador Rocataglita reaffirmed Argentina’s commitment to expanding educational ties, emphasizing the potential for cooperation in innovation and knowledge-sharing.

According to the Ethiopian Ministry of Education, both sides acknowledged the favorable conditions for academic partnerships and pledged to work towards strengthening educational ties.
