The Ministry of Urban & Infrastructure Development in cooperation with the Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation is grooming to stage the International Construction Exhibition under the theme “Build Ethiopia (Big 5 Construction Ethiopia)” from May 30 to June 1, 2024, in the Millennium Hall,
Dubbed Big 5 Construct Ethiopia, the event, which is the second edition, aims to create networking opportunities for participants, according to Chaltu Sani, Minister of Urban & Infrastructure Development.
Minister Sani highlighted the importance of marketing networks and experience sharing between exhibitors and visitors.
The event is also expected to provide Ethiopian professionals in the sector more opportunities to compete globally in several ways, she further noted.
The exhibition, according to Minister Chaltu, would be crucial for building capability that will promote growth throughout the nation.
The event has so far attracted over 5,000 registrants online. Attendees, expected to exceed 9,000, include industry stakeholders, potential buyers, and construction material manufacturers.//
