Two of Ethiopia’s key intelligence and security institutions have got Thursday new leadership.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed appointed Redwan Hussein, who has been State Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the Premier’s National Security Affairs Advisor, as Director General of National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS).
He also appointed Tigist Hamid as the Director General of Information Network Security Administration (INSA).
Abiy’s government has given other appointments to deputy prime minister, foreign affairs minister and health minister positions.
