PM Abiy: Ethiopian Identity an "All-Weather Thing," Like a Continuous River

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today painted a vivid picture of Ethiopian identity, describing it as an enduring, "all-weather thing" that transcends seasonal highs and lows. In an interview with EBC, he likened this resilience to a continuous river that, even if it "might get muddy sometimes," will always clear up.

The Prime Minister stressed the need for Ethiopians to "work thinking about the future," drawing vital lessons from the past to actively build tomorrow. He emphasized that being Ethiopian "is something that was, that is, and that will be," an unyielding identity that perseveres through both good times and bad.
