The ministry also expressed appreciation for Turkey's mediating role. Germany's Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the Ankara agreement as a positive step towards bringing stability to the people of the Horn of Africa. The ministry also called on Ethiopia and Somalia to continue their discussions with trust and a spirit of partnership.
