Ethiopia's Deputy Prime Minister, Temesgen Tiruneh, has voiced the government's commitment to modernizing the nation's construction sector.
Following a visit to the Ethiopian Construction Works Corporation's Quality Industry Zone and Center of Excellence, he highlighted the corporation's proxy production and foreign exchange initiatives as vital for sector transformation.
He praised the corporation's institutional reforms and its increased participation in large-scale national projects.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the crucial role of the industrial zone in alleviating material shortages by boosting the production of construction inputs, and reaffirmed the government's continued support to strengthen the corporation and elevate the Ethiopian construction industry.
